 Heterodera sacchari and H. goldeni belong to the Sacchari group and share several diagnostic characters: strongly developed underbridge with finger-like projections in cyst and prominent anchor shaped stylet knobs, three incisures in lateral field in second stage juveniles. Heterodera sacchari was found parasitizing sugarcane and rice in several African and Asian countries. ..................................................
